Ingredients
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Epicure's Cinnamon (ground)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
- 10 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) quick oats
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Epicure's Baking Powder
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Epicure's Apple Pie Spice
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) cold butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
2. Lightly butter a large baking dish.
3. In a small bowl, combine Cinnamon with sugar. In a separate bowl, toss apple with lemon juice and sugar mixture and spoon into dish.
4. In a large bowl, combine remaining dry ingredients. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
5. Cover apples with crumble topping.
6. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until apples are knife-tender.
